Inter-County Energy is proud to announce a special opportunity for our youngest co-op members. Touchstone Energy Cooperatives and your cooperative have teamed with The Dollywood Foundation to bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library® to our co-op community. The Imagination Library mails high-quality books every single month to children ages 0 to 5. There’s no cost to families and no income requirements.
We are thrilled to be participating in this program and hope you’ll share our excitement. This effort is known as the Touchstone Energy X Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Collaboration, and it is their first national Concern for Community initiative.
Dolly Parton believes that kids who read succeed. She created the Imagination Library in 1995 to inspire children to love books and reading. Since its inception, the program has delivered more than 100 million books to children around the world.
We share Dolly’s passion and enthusiasm for giving children the tools they need to succeed. The presence of books in the home supports a child’s academic, social and emotional development.
Inter-County Energy members will receive an email with links to enroll in the program. Families in our co-op community with children ages 0 to 5 will be eligible to participate. To Page 5 of 8 enroll, they’ll need to provide their child’s name, birthdate and their mailing address. The Dollywood Foundation will send an age-appropriate book to the child every month.
